Due to a failed attempt to carry rather a lot of a certain "liquid' onto a plane, Shamus didn't quite make it to Hong Kong for the soft launch of the album. However several hundred thirsty punters made up for his absence, by drinking a huge amount of the alcohol laid by gracious hosts, Yumla, and abused Shamus in London by instant messages. Thanks to Dan and Pat at Yumla for making it all happen.

Hong Kong's hottest design house, China Stylus, starts work on the sleeve for "Songs For Suicidal Lovers", by bringing illustrators Graphic Airlines to do the illustrations.

With the completion of a recording session in Kathmandu, the last additional musicians parts are added, those being of Sur Sudha.

Tsin Hsiao Hung adds her Erhu, joining the Shakuhachi of Sunny Yeung, the unbeatable guitar of Eugene Pao, the harmonica of Dave Packer, the ambient guitar of Paul Harvey, and the ambient Bass Clarinet of Andrew Pask, on the songs slowly building shape that will make up the album, now to be titled; "Songs For Suicidal Lovers".
